Stephanie Karapita was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto in August 2015. Prior to taking on this role, she served for eight years as CEO of Casey House, a specialty HIV/AIDS hospital in Toronto. During her tenure, she applied her long-held passion for quality care by securing capital funding for a new building and operating funding for an innovative new program to respond to the evolving health care needs of those served by Casey House. She has extensive knowledge of the health care system having worked at Toronto East General Hospital, St. Michael’s and the University Health Network. She holds an MBA from Dalhousie University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto.
