PICTOU – Rebecca Gillis is coming home.
After spending 14 months in Toronto waiting for a heart transplant, the 15-year-old Pictou native has been given the OK by doctors to travel home.
“She is super excited,” said her mother Jennifer. “I think she is most excited to see her dog, Ringo. She hasn’t seen him since we left.
