Scotia Marathon Water Station Volunteers

Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2010 Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon Charity Challenge!

On Sunday September 26, 2010 Ronald McDonald House Toronto was thrilled to take part in this exciting event for the second year in a row.  With over 26,000 participants the streets of Toronto were filled with energy and enthusiasm. We are so proud of everyone’s contribution.

With the help of our participants, their supporters and our volunteers, we are making a difference for the many families who will stay at the new Ronald McDonald House Toronto - a place to heal better.

This year 19 participants walked or ran through the streets of Toronto in support of the new House. Collectively, we were able to raise over $6,000.

Our 25 volunteers were outstanding - cheering on participants at the first ever RMH Toronto water station. We could not have done it without their commitment and supportive shouts of encouragement from the sidelines.

Support of this event will directly help build a new Ronald McDonald House Toronto at 240 McCaul Street.  This new house will serve almost three times the number of families we currently do.
