About Us
The House offers 28 comfortably furnished family bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, a warm and inviting kitchen and dining area, common family room, playroom and free laundry facilities.
Although the cost of accommodating a family for a single night is more than $170, families are asked to contribute just $15.
But RMH Toronto is more than just a place for families to lay their heads. We are somewhere where families and their children can continue the familiar routines of home life, despite their traumatic situations. We provide an atmosphere of compassion and understanding in a stressful and frightening time.
Our Mission
The mission of Ronald McDonald House Toronto is to enhance the quality of life for out-of-town families with seriously ill children through a caring and supportive "home away from home."
But our House is more than just a place for families to stay. We strive to provide a sense of normalcy for our children and families during a chaotic and traumatic time. The House is somewhere families can go about their regular routines – doing laundry, walking their kids to school, eating dinner as a family – as much as possible. The House offers an atmosphere of compassion and understanding in a stressful and often frightening time.
