Toronto's Ronald McDonald House Charity Golf Classic
Angus Glen Golf Club – August 23, 2004
On August 23rd 2004, Toronto's Ronald McDonald House Charity Golf Classic was held at the beautiful Angus Glen Golf Course. Encouraged by the success of our inaugural event last year, we doubled the registration for the tournament with 244 players teeing off on both the North and South Courses.
With the support of our generous sponsors, individuals, golfer foursomes and corporations who donated prizes and auction items, an incredible $150,000 net was raised.
Jane Marco, Executive Director of Toronto's Ronald McDonald House commented: “Everyone had a wonderful day. It is great when people can come out to an event like this and do what you like to do and have such a great impact for an important cause at the same time. Thank you for sharing your time and talents with us today – your efforts make our work possible."
